As 2OS’s first DevOps and MLOps Engineer, Matt brings over 25 years of IT experience to enhance our machine learning operations. Joining in September 2024, Matt leverages his extensive background in DevOps best practices, open source, and cloud technologies to significantly improve our client engagements. With his innovative approach, Matt is streamlining our internal processes, boosting efficiency and allowing our data scientists to focus more on client needs and less on the intricacies of the machine learning lifecycle. Matt is excited to collaborate with our data scientists and business analysts to pioneer new, high-value approaches to service delivery in the rapidly evolving field of machine learning operations.

Prior to 2OS, Matt spent 7 years as a Senior Cloud and DevOps Consultant at SingleStone Consulting, where he guided clients through cloud architecture design, application migrations, and modern CI/CD pipeline implementations. His 15+ years in consulting roles included work with financial industry leaders such as Fidelity Investments, Providence Equity Partners, and Capital One.

Now based near the Blue Ridge Mountains in Charlottesville, VA, Matt balances his professional life with family and personal interests. An advocate for longevity and healthspan, he maintains an active lifestyle through cycling, running, rucking and strength training. Matt finds motivation from his favorite podcasts, The Huberman Lab and Dr. Peter Attia’s The Drive, which fuel his passion for health and wellness. When not chasing after his two young children, Matt and his wife can be found enjoying live music in and around Charlottesville, Richmond, and at various festivals.
