Jonathan is a Director, Data Science at 2OS with 15+ years experience in the lending industry, and 17+ years experience in statistical modeling. Jonathan began his career at SAS Institute developing the time series and marketing models for national retail chains before moving into financial services in technical model development and analysis roles covering credit line management, pricing and marketing analytics, stress test modeling, and allowance. 

Jonathan worked for 7 years at Capital One where he led the end-to-end technical development and implementation of the CECL modeling approach for the $115B card portfolio, including modifying into valuation and stress testing compatible designs, and later served as the technical advisor to the CFO and COO for quarterly allowance estimates, and technical POC for OCC and FRB regulators and the model risk office, earning the 2020 company-wide Circle-of-Excellence. Jonathan was then commissioned by Booking.com to move to Europe to design and build the company’s Fintech Data Science organization which grew from 3 to 40 over 4 years and spanned Data Engineering, Machine Learning, A/B testing, Product Analytics, and Risk Management across 3 countries. Jonathan also served as technical expert for acquisition conversations and pricing strategies. Jonathan joined 2OS in February 2025.

Jonathan double majored in Economics and Mathematics and received a Masters in Economics. In his free time he enjoys reading, taking on home improvement projects, serving as assistant baseball coach for his son’s team, and as a classically trained percussionist, jamming on his drum set.
