Matt is a Principal at 2nd Order Solutions, with expertise in product strategy, marketing analytics, and valuations models. While at 2OS, he has focused on customer acquisitions strategies and diligences. His work has included developing both credit and compensation policies for a branch based installment lender to drive more high quality originations. His diligences have focused on companies based across the world, from fintechs who have not yet originated a loan to top global banks.
Prior to joining 2OS, he held multiple roles in the lending industry including serving as the Head of Branded Card for Barclays US Consumer Bank and leading subprime credit card acquisitions for Capital One, where he managed product strategy, credit policy, and marketing strategies for a business that originated more than 3MM new accounts per year. Matt was also accredited as a Model Risk Officer, responsible for the regulatory compliance of subprime and partnerships valuations models. Matt has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BS in Economics from Penn State, as well as an MBA from Kellogg.
Outside of work, Matt is an avid golfer, playing in multiple amateur tournaments around the state each year. When he is not on the golf course, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog, Penny, and ensuring his lawn looks better than his co-worker Chase’s.
