Credit Risk Quarterly – Q1 2026

Written by Scott Barton, Walker Flythe, Cameron Ruh, Pallavi Verumi, and Yuhan Hou

We are excited to share our Q1 2026 Credit Risk Quarterly!

Recent data suggests a modest deterioration in consumer credit, led by rising stress in credit cards and auto loans. Mortgage delinquencies are also trending higher, yet student and personal loan performance remain comparatively resilient. Amid ongoing regulatory uncertainty and mixed macro signals, credit risk appears elevated but still contained.
